In an attempt to curb the spread of Coranavirus (Covid-19) in the UAE, Sharjah Police announced that the Traffic and Licensing Services Center would be temporarily shut down according to sources in Al Ramtha in Sharjah, Tasjeel Village and Motor Search.
Those wanting to renew their car registration and inspection tests would need to use intelligent services. They can be accessed via the Applications of the Interior Ministry and Sharjah Police.
But what about the testing of cars, this can not be achieved through the phone or an application.
Here’s how you do it
Earlier today, via the telephone (06-517-7555) we reached the Customer Experience Center in Sharjah to ask how to check the vehicle and how to get the passing report.
Car tests may be carried out in Dubai or Ajman test centers for vehicle renewal according to the representative. The documentation can be used electronically to meet requirements.
Only registration centers in Sharjah’s Emirate were temporarily closed, as of writing. Centers open in Dubai, Ajman, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain.
The hotline mentioned above is available from 7 am to 5 pm.
